Cycling and Sustainable Transport in East Ren

Explore Whitelee With Sustrans ER

Following our successful season of rides throughout the East Renfrewshire countryside, we are returning to Whitelee to use as a base for an autumn series. All rides will take place on Saturday morning, and will involve 2-3 hours of cycling at a relaxed place, through and around Whitelee, followed by lunch or coffee in the Whitelee Visitor Centre.  Some of the routes can be a little rough, so a mountain bike or off-road hybrid is recommended.

August 29. 10.30am Meet at Visitor Centre. Moor Rd, A77, Waterside,
Craigendunton and back through wind farm. Variant of a previous May
outing.

September 12. 10.30am Meet at Visitor Centre. Spine Road and down
to Eaglesham. Lift back to Visitor Centre available if required.

September 19. 10.30am Meet outside Eaglesham Primary school. A
more energetic ride. Up through wind farm via Carrot to the high point
at Corse Hill and back via Alderstocks and Auldhouse

All welcome! Our previous rides had cyclists aged from 10 to 70, of all abilities. Please contact us on info@eastrencycling.org.uk or see our Facebook page (SustransEastRen) if you have any queries.
